People forget Amy wrote and played all her music on the guitar and the record label told her she needs to not use it for live performances so she didn’t know what to do with herself. So her ‘fidgeting” it’s just her thing it’s apart of her stage presence it doesn’t mean she’s high. Also her vocals hear are 100% and it’s effortless she doesn’t even look like she’s trying she’s just nonchalant ✨

The lead guitarist is online as SpiritGuitar. At least he was active on the Line6 forum a few years back. He is very cool guy. He was the first to come up with that interrupted pre-bend release lead. He would turn one volume control off on his Gibson, which muted the pickup, then bend the string, strike it, and toggle the pickup selector back and forth to the middle position, while he slowly released the bent string. Very cool sound with standard equipment. Just add reverb!

Baum is a German surname meaning "tree," so his last name means "green tree." As other have stated he was and still is Jewish and wrote this after seeing another performer singing a gospel song and basically told himself he could do that - so he did. It took him about 15 minutes. The guitar riff was done by a guy named Russell DaShiell.

There's a short somewhere, that Ren shows how he turned the chorus into the "keyboard/synth" sounds for the song. Much of the background is literally the original song, altered the Ren way. Awesome!

Great reaction you guys! He made a lot of music during his bad days a few years back, check out his 2 albums (Demo Vol 1 & 2), he has songs like Diazapam, Everybody drops, Heretic, etc. Some of his greatest work if you ask me! All bangers 🤘

I don't do big concerts (except when a friend gives me a free ticket and makes me go), but I especially avoid festivals. Ugh, just ugh. Fighting through crowds, overpriced water, and especially the sun. I prefer small, local shows and indie artists. I always have an amazing time and I love to support great up and coming talent. 💜 edited to add: Your club drinks are stupid cheap! :o L.A. it's like $9+ for a shot, $13+ for mixed drinks. Just ugh.
